Trump’s Nvidia deal will aid in Beijing’s development of cutting-edge military technology.

On July 23, 2025, the Trump administration released its strategy for outcompeting China and winning the artificial intelligence race. Central to the plan was strengthening export controls to keep America’s most powerful AI chips out of the reach of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
