It took an AI coding agent to notch a small victory against the algorithms. For years, I knew exactly how I wanted to rewrite Twitter, so that the habit of checking notifications would be a little weaker and the impulse would fuel something better. I wanted to interrupt Twitter, before it loaded, with an interstitial page.
