Come meet Steve, Sarah, and Jonah, and fellow members of The Dispatch community at Hotel ZaZa in Houston for an informal meet and greet gathering at 6 p.m. CT on June 13, 2023. Each guest will get two drink tickets on us.
We’ll have a one-hour discussion and Q&A session with Steve, Sarah, and Jonah with casual socializing before and after the program. They’ll talk about the news of the day and give an update on all things Dispatch, so bring your questions!
We hold these regional events for two reasons. The first and most important? To meet and thank the people who pay our salaries and make our journalism possible. So, come, hang out a bit and let us buy you a drink (or two).
But there’s another important reason, too: We want to expand The Dispatch community. So, we strongly encourage you to invite non-members who might be interested in The Dispatch. We remain surprised and heartened that our Dispatch community has grown as quickly as it has and our ability to expand the important work we’re doing depends in part on that continued growth. And in this fraught political moment where news consumers don’t know who to trust, we’ve found that people still trust friends and relatives to help steer them toward sane news options. Don’t worry, this will be a low-pressure affair – no what-will-it-take-to-get-you-into-this-membership sales pitches from us. We’ll simply offer special three-month free trials for anyone who attends as a guest of a member.
We’d like to thank our sponsors for this event Fidelis Realty Partners, Ken Valach, McDowell Hetherington LLP, Hotel ZaZa, and a Houston Friend of The Dispatch for their support. If you or your company would like to help sponsor this event, please email sales@thedispatch.com. We would be happy to talk about any level of sponsorship.
