We’re excited to introduce Dispatch Voiced, a new feature that will make it easier for members to take The Dispatch’s journalism with them on the go. With two members-only feeds—one for Editor’s Picks and one for The Morning DispatchDispatch Voiced sends high-quality audio versions of our biggest stories and most engaging newsletters directly to your podcast player of choice, where you can add them to your queue, save your place, adjust the playback speed, and more.

As The Dispatch has grown our offerings, we’ve heard from more and more readers who wish they had more time to read all of the articles and newsletters we’re publishing on a daily basis. With Dispatch Voiced, we want to fit our reporting and analysis around your schedule. You might not have 30 minutes to sit at your computer and read Kevin D. Williamson’s reporting from Los Angeles on the Trump administration’s immigration raids, but maybe you have enough time to listen to it while grocery shopping, commuting to the office, on the treadmill at the gym, or walking the dog.

Dispatch Voiced

Most audio featured in Dispatch Voiced feeds will be generated using advanced AI technology, designed to recreate the intonation, pacing, and inflection of an audiobook narrator. It will occasionally mispronounce a word, but it’s pretty darn good—and will only improve over time as we build out its library with Dispatch content. Plus, some pieces will occasionally feature authors reading their own work as well.

If you’re interested in accessing these Dispatch Voiced feeds, you can sign up to become a member of The Dispatch by clicking here.

You will not find Dispatch Voiced feeds by searching in your podcast player, as they are a perk reserved for paid members of The Dispatch. That said, setting them up should only take a minute or two. If you have any questions or run into any difficulties, reach out to us at members@thedispatch.com and someone on our team will be able to assist you.

How to access Dispatch Voiced feeds:

  1. Navigate to The Dispatch’s website and ensure you are signed in with your paid account.
  2. Click the red button in the top-left corner of the website and then on “My Account” in the dropdown menu.
  3. Select “Podcast Preferences” in the settings menu.
  4. Once there, a page will load showing “Your Private RSS Feeds.” All paying members will see two separate Dispatch Voiced feeds—one for Editor’s Picks and one for The Morning Dispatch. Premium and lifetime members will also see ad-free versions of The Dispatch Podcast, The Remnant, and Advisory Opinions.
  5. For each feed you’d like to subscribe to, click the red “Set Up” button and follow the instructions to add the unique RSS feed to your podcast player of choice. Certain players—Apple, YouTube—allow the feeds to be set up with the click of a button, others will require you to copy and paste the URL into the search bar of the player manually.
  6. The unique URL will unlock the feed for one user. Make sure to subscribe to feed itself, and you are all set!

With your membership, you only have the ability to comment on The Morning Dispatch articles. Consider upgrading to join the conversation everywhere.
