As of today, it’s been three years since the Supreme Court’s decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard.
The decision effectively banned the use of race in college admissions, finding it to be a violation of the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause—whose standards apply, via federal statute, not only to public schools but also to private ones that receive federal funds.
